Ambulance Stations, across Northern Ireland

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) is a single provincewide trust serving the five Health & Social Care (HSC) Trusts. With an operational area of over 5,500 square miles serving a population of approximately 1.7 million, the NIAS provides a critical emergency response service dealing with over 140,000 ‘999’ calls a year, and also non-emergency patient transport and specialised health transport services.

Doran Consulting has been commissioned to provide a range of design services in relation to an anticipated enhancement of ambulance station and community related facilities across the province, with an initial upgrade to Ballymena Ambulance Station, to provide modern and fully functional ambulance depots which have been designed to be secure, sustainable, welcoming and also innovative and aesthetically pleasing.
