Mid Ulster Sports Complex, Cookstown

Doran Consulting was appointed lead consultant by Cookstown District Council to undertake the design and contract administration for the construction of this multi-use sports facility at Loughry, Cookstown.

The scheme incorporated the construction of five grass "sand mattress" pitches for rugby, football and Gaelic football, a floodlit "2nd generation" (rubber crumb) synthetic pitch suitable for multi sport use, an endurance/ outdoor training area and a multi-use changing facility including a fitness suite/ conditioning area together with car-parking and access roads.

Doran Consulting worked closely with the client and the other members of the design team thorughout the progress of the scheme from tender stage through to completion.
