Doran Consulting was appointed as lead consultant by Cookstown District Council to undertake the design and contract administration for the construction of this multi-use sports facility in Cookstown.
More recently, we were commissioned to provide design services in relation to an existing sand mattress Gaelic pitch was upgraded to a 3G surface, making it more suitable for rugby and Gaelic games. The pitch provided is a long pile rubber filled surface and comprises line markings for both of the above sports. The upgrading works also included the provision of floodlighting, spectator fencing and hard standing spectator areas on the pitch periphery.
In addition to providing the design services for this upgrade, we also acted as Project Manager for the construction of the works.
