Altnagelvin Hospital Project Shortlisted for the RSUA Design Awards 22

Doran Consulting are pleased to have worked on the Altnagelvin Acute Hospital - North Wing Development, which has been shortlisted for the Royal Society of Ulster Architect (RSUA) Design Awards 2022.
The project is one of the nine shortlisted buildings which are in the running to be named ‘Northern Ireland's Best Building’ in the RSUA Design Awards 2022. The North Block development is located within the heart of Altnagelvin Hospital and provides circa 14,000m2 of new inpatient ward accommodation, including 144 single occupancy bed spaces and associated ward support facilities.
Doran Consulting were involved throughout the design and construction phases of the project. Providing Civil and Structural engineering services and fulfilling the Principal Designer role for this £40m development on the acute hospital campus.
