Milewater Service Centre officially opened

Doran Consulting were Project Manager,
Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer and Traffic Engineer for the new bus
workshop and compound at Duncrue Street in Belfast Harbour which was officially
opened today by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Deirdre Hargey.
The Milewater Service Centre is a purpose built facility to service, maintain and repair the Glider fleet, as well as a new depot for Translink’s engineering and projects teams.
The high-quality service centre comprises offices, meeting rooms and staff facilities (120,000ft²) across three floors and sits alongside engineering garages and workshops, which accommodate central storage facilities, specialist equipment and bus washing and fuel facilities. In addition there is parking provision for 145 buses and 191 staff car parking spaces.
