Consulting is delighted to be the Lead Marine and Civils Designer of Phase
1 of the 1.2km heavy-lift quay, for GRAHAM Civil Engineering.
Installation of the 156No., 1.8m diameter, 28m long tubular piles is now complete with tie rod and waler beam installation progressing on the anchored combi wall. Once complete, the Works will facilitate river access to a 15-acre hardstanding and logistical space. The quay will be complete in spring 2023 to support SeAH Wind Ltd and GE Renewable Energy, playing a critical role in the loading and shipping of SeAH Wind’s monopile foundation structures and GE Renewable Energy’s 107m long turbine blades bound for the Dogger Bank wind farm.
