Glenowen Hydroelectric Development
Doran Consulting was commissioned by Derry City Council to carry out the detailed design for this high head hydroelectric scheme, prepare the contract documents and administer the tender procedure.
This scheme abstracts water from the Creggan Reservoirs in Derry and conveys it through approximately 600m of pressure pipeline through a head of 30m to a turbine house.
