Tedcastle Oil Products, Fuel Farm Bunding
Doran Consulting was retained by Tedcastle Oil Products to carry out the civil engineering design services for the bunding of their fuel farms in Dublin Port. The schemes involved the design, detailing, specification of reinforced concrete bund walls up to 3.5m high and reinforced concrete ground slabs. We also provided site supervision services and fulfilled the role of Project Supervisor (Design).
Construction of Yard 1 was completed in just over 6 months and construction of Yard 2 was also completed in under a year. The fuel farms remained fully operational throughout the construction period with stringent safety regulations enforced.
