Grand Canal Docks, Dublin Port

Waterways Ireland commissioned Doran Consulting to undertake a detailed condition assessment and structural analysis of the historic docks walls (approximately 3,000m) and 3 lock structures situated in Dublin.

Our report uncovered numerous defects and recommended extensive remedial works. The report was issued to the client, who were able to secure funding. Waterways Ireland subsequently commissioned us to provide the detailed design, tendering and contract administration for the first phase of the proposed remedial works.
