Aghalee & Aghagallon WwTW
Doran Consulting was appointed as Project Manager for the construction of 2 new wastewater treatment works at Aghalee and Aghagallon. Doran Consulting's role was to co-ordinate the civil engineering elements of the projects with the process elements which had been procured through various Water Service framework agreements.
Each upgraded site has a design population equivalent of 2,000. Membrane Bio Reactor process was chosen for each site to facilitate compliance with the stringent discharge consent of 5mg/l BOD and 10mg/l suspended solids.
