Mount Eagles Housing Development, Lagmore
Mount Eagles Housing Development is situated off the Stewartstown Road in west Belfast. The development comprises 700 dwellings. The first stage of the development incorporated the design and construction of a main distributor road across the top of the existing Lagmore Dam to access the site.
In addition to the provision of the normal civil engineering services for the roads and drainage infrastructure, Doran Consulting also carried out the geotechnical engineering investigation and analysis of the dam, which is now defunct, to ensure the long-term stability of the access road.
Our traffic engineering department undertook a Traffic Impact Assessment for the scheme and represented the developer, Toland House Properties Ltd., at the major White Lands public enquiry.
