Doran Consulting provided structural design services for this 56 bedroom, purpose-built care home set in landscaped gardens, which provides nursing, dementia nursing and respite care.
This 3-storey building has a traditional load bearing masonry wall construction with precast long span floor slabs and a timber truss roof. Additional steel members and framing system are designed where required to support the structure.
