Maguiresbridge Sewerage Scheme, Co. Fermanagh
Following a detailed Appraisal Study, Doran Consulting was commissioned by NI Water to prepare a full design for a new pumping station, pumping main and storm overflow to allow the decommissioning of the existing wastewater treatment works at Maguiresbridge and the transfer of flows to Lisnaskea WwTW for treatment.
The project included installation of a pumping station with screening of inlet flows. Storm and emergency storage was provided such that only 3xDWF was required to be passed forward and an overflow screening arrangement was installed. Over 4km of pumping main was laid between Maguiresbridge and Lisnaskea by directional drilling.
