This NI Water contract was for the upgrading of six wastewater treatment works which were required to meet upcoming regulatory discharge standards in compliance with the EC Directive Municipal Wastewater Treatment. The works consisted of Rotating Biological Contactors (RBC) with primary and final settlement tanks and sludge holding tanks, new control buildings, preliminary treatment works and associated site works.
The contract included the manufacture, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of process plant for the RBC plants and all ancillary and control plant.
